There’s enough space to display a wide variety of food on this ceran glass counter hot plate from Designline. Suitable for use with any flat-bottomed chafing dish up to a maximum 4/1 GN size, it’s got you covered for any service no matter what time of day it is – you can display anything from fry-ups and continental breakfasts to Chinese meals and carvery meats.

As a self-service display, it’s incredibly reliable and so easy to use. You can alter the temperature of both the hanging quartz lamps and ceran surface plates separately from an easily accessible control panel to create the level of warmth best suited for the food. The use of flat surfaced ceramic for heating also has the added benefit of being easily cleaned compared to food well displays or bains marie too – this results in low maintenance for a 24-hour operating unit.
