Mediana HeartOn A16 Fully Automatic Defibrillator

The Mediana HeartOn A16 is a fully automatic AED designed for public, workplace and educational settings. Upon placement of the pads, the device automatically analyses the heart rhythm and delivers a shock if needed. It switches between adult and paediatric modes at the touch of a button using the same pads, streamlining emergency response and eliminating the need for extra equipment.

The A16 comes pre-programmed in three languages, English, Welsh and Polish, and clearly communicates instructions through voice prompts and LED indicators. The unit is safety-tested daily, weekly, and monthly, with a built-in Post-On Self-Test (POST), Battery Insertion Self-Test (BIST), and an optional “pad quality check” that flags expired or faulty electrode pads.

Rated to IP55 for dust and water resistance and drop-tested from 0.75 m on all sides, the Mediana HeartOn A16 can withstand typical environmental hazards. It complies with 2015 AHA/ERC guidelines and delivers biphasic truncated exponential waveform shocks at 170-195 J for adults and 44-51 J for children.
